How do I connect router to existing computer with DSL box already working.?

My Compaq computer has Ethernet connection to Westell DSL black box for connection to CenturyTel for DSL support. I have purchase a LinkSys 4 port router / Firewall so I can connect more then one computer at a time over the DSL. Other then Physical connections, what settings or other do I need to make to connect the Linksys as described.

If your DSL provider requires PPPoE authentication, you need to configure your router to authenticate (it’s really simple and located on the first screen). Also, don’t forget to change your router’s default password.
If your PC has PPPoE software (like WinPoET) you should uninstall it.
