How to record to computer from Canon 7D?
I have a canon 7D and I was wondering how I could hook my camera up so that it is connected to my computer to where I could record from it.
could this help me get pass the 30 min record limit?
And I was also hoping to find out that if I could do a time lapse with my camera? How could i set it up to where it takes a picture every 5 mins or so without me having to click the button every time?
Install CD which has the drivers and softwares that came with your 7D. There are some good softwares that links the camera to computer. Eg: EOS Utility
For the 5 minutes interval, like the previous contribute have stated use a special Canon remote control. Eg: Canon TC80 N3
I am not sure whether you 7D has the feature included within it’s body… It is however worth checking it out on it’s manual.
