What type of tablet should I get for my art?
I’m new to using the computer for my artwork, and so I’m completely at a loss. I have just got Adobe Photoshop CS3, and have found it nearly impossible to paint with a mouse. If I’m correct, I need a tablet? I don’t have millions of dollars to spend, so I’d like to get something not too expensive, but that’s not a piece of junk. I feel so lost, could someone help me decide what type and model?
Get a Wacom Intuos2.
Sure they’re older than the new Intuos3 models. But I still use one every day to draw with (here’s an example: http://homepage.mac.com/favoritestudios/Sites/nobyl/index.html )
I have a small one, they call it a 4×5 in the US. Here’s a link to the UK site that describes it:

There’s one on ebay right now (without a pen) for a But-It-Now price of $39.00

Then you’ll also need to get an Intuos2 pen (or stylus). Here’s one on ebay for $58.54:

So for $100 plus shipping you could be in business. (And believe me, you will NEVER regret having a Wacom tablet if you are drawing on the computer).
