Tanning help. And I mean it. I’m paler than Edward Cullen.?
So, let’s face it – I’m the palest guy in school. So many people come up and tell me that my skin is white like a ghost. I even compared it to computer paper, and I’m just a LITTLE tanner than that sheet of paper. So, I’m going to ask a stranger’s advice for help. I do NOT want to be so tan that I look like a leather bag. I want a slight tan without going to that “tan” mark, if you know what I mean. How long do you think I should lay out in the sun per day for a really pale person like me? So far I’m doing 10 minutes on my stomach and 10 minutes on my back…thank you for your help!
p.s. – I don’t have a certain date that I have to be tan on. It’s just that I want my skin to be just a little darker, but not that much.
Is SPF 50 too much? That’s what I currently have.
Tan daily or at least every other day until your skin has reached its maximum tanning potential. Brief, frequent exposure to ultraviolet rays will help you get a dark tan faster than infrequent, long tanning sessions. Outdoor tanning should be limited to fifteen-minute intervals until a base tan is established. After you’ve established a good base tan, you will be able to tan longer without burning. Make sure to wear SPF 15 sunscreen or higher. Good luck
