Does playing on the computer or video games make you brain dead?

I think it does temporarily. Like your brain shuts down in a way, because it seems like whenever I play on the computer or play video games for awhile when I go out im very confused, never know what to say to people, but if I limit how much i’m on, spend more time with people, talking on the phone, when I go out i’m extremely social and happy and have no problem talking to people.

i think thats just you actually. i play videogames and it actually has helped my hand eye coordination, helps me read maps better, has taught me about the economy (WoW is a wonderful thing) and since i play a fair few MMO’s (WoW, LotRO, DDO) i do get to socialize with other people. we all have microphones and we chat. plus i have guitar hero and dance dance revolution so i invite friends over to play those with me and we have a grand ol time
