What do I do when a Computer Tower completely breaks down?
I have a desktop computer, and the tower just broke down on me. It was working fine before, until one day, we couldn’t turn it on. The internet works, and the monitor can still work.
However, the tower doesn’t allow the monitor to turn on when I press the button.
Could the tower just have broken down form overuse? How can I fix this?
Probably not from overuse unless it is VERY old.
Since you did not say much about what was happening it is difficult to say what is wrong. Taking it to a computer shop and asking them to take a look at it is a good idea unless you have a computer knowledgeable friend.
If it makes NO sound when turned on it is probably a bad power supply. Do yourself a favor and make sure you don’t have a blown fuse for the outlet it is plugged in to.
