
Computer program to write music?
I took piano lessons a long time ago, and my teacher had this program, where you wrote music, and chose notes for the staffs and all that.
How much do these programs genereally cost? What is a good one? What is a good one that is a resonable price?

A full version of Finale 2008 (one of the two main programs that professional arrangers and copyists use) is $600 but can be purchased with a student discount for only $350
Finale Allegro is a lite version of Finale and is only $199
