Corrupt file cabinet?

hey i was wondering could someone help me i can’t install windows live messenger right now (any version) or java which some people stated is what you do when you have corrupt file cabinet, then try installing msn again but java gets the error message too and alot of different computer errors i’m having right now i know i need RAM and i have had many different blue screens lately and installing xp fresh from disk but having different errors such as ‘Windows server pack setup has encountered a problem’ and its an error report to send or not send which happened before but was fixed. i don’t have an illiegal copy of windows by the way but also lost the product key that came with it and i think i really need to install micrsoft updates right now. the cabinet error messages were ‘MSI1AD.tmp’ and ‘MsgrCore.cab’ that didn’t work i need help fixing this so i can install msn and other things

borrow another copy of windows…. i think you have a problem with the windows installers….. i corrupts some files….. better have another windows installer other than you have…..
