Computer Science Requirements?
In College.
Ok, what math do you have to go up to be a Computer Software Engineer. is it Calculus 2?
How about science, how much physic u need?
I know English is all 4 years.
how about history, do u need history in college?
In college, everyone needs to meet a general education core. This usually consists of 2 semesters of English compositition and 1 semester of speech communications, 2 semesters of science (one life and one physical – with at least one being a lab-based course), at least 3 semesters of social sciences (history, government, sociology, psychology, etc.), and 1 semester of math. Some colleges also require health and physical education classes.
You also need to meet a major’s course sequence. Majoring is computer software engineering, this will require at least 2 semesters of calculus-based physics, a minimum of calculus I and calculus II, (The college may also require calculus III, linear algebra and/or differential equations – depending upon the university requirements at your college.) and many courses in computer programming languages.
It will not be an easy major, but if you truly enjoy programming and working on computers (opening them up and working on them – not playing on a computer), you will find this major quite rewarding.
